What i’m using for swim coverups this summer

When it comes to swimwear, I consider coverups to be a necessity. Having something on-hand that’s cute, comfortable and easy to throw on when taking a break from the beach or the pool is a summer must-have!

Typically, I’ve gone for dress-like silhouettes (see my favorite one here) but this summer I’m using a different little trick I’m excited to share with you… maxi skirts!

By switching things up and opting for a maxi skirt instead of a traditional coverup dress, you’re getting two uses out of one piece of clothing.

Take this palm print high-low maxi skirt, for example. It works beautifully as a cover up with this pink scalloped swimsuit (see the full post on this cute set here) and would also look darling paired with a knotted white tee and wedges for evening. Don’t forget a pair of fabulous statement earrings to take the look to the next level!
