Twirl

My ultimate and final deciding factor on any dress? Is it fun to wear. Chic, on-trend, and striking though it may be, it’s not going in my closet if it doesn’t meet that single qualification. And what one thing that almost always makes a dress fun to wear? Something I like to call the twirl factor.

 

According to that criteria, this Topshop number makes the cut… and doesn’t stop there.

Why? Because it’s sleek while playful, classic while poppy.

One of those you know you’ll sport on many a glamorous outing and pat yourself on the back for every time you remember it’s yours.

I love the statement the delicate lace sleeves make in conjunction with the swing skirt.

A pearl rope plays up the elegance, while a pink lip keeps things fresh.

And yes. It twirls.

The Topshop website states the dress is out of stock (frowny emoji), so I’m rounding up some of my favorite twirly dresses below. Throw one on (with some hot pink lipstick and high high heels) and go have fun!
