Sezane Sweaters to Kickstart Spring

SWEATER: Sezane | JEANS: Re/Done | SHOES: Dior | LIPSTICK: Laura Mercier | BAG: Clare V | TAN: St. Tropez
I’m gonna pull a Brit move here and go on a little spiel about the weather for a sec— it’s been absolutely beautiful in London lately! Not sunny enough to get my Mykonos glow back (still banking on St. Tropez for that) but sunny enough to give me hope that spring is in arm’s reach & to get me through the slump that comes in February/winter.
With spring in sight, I’m pretty much over winter clothes — I’m ready for flowy fabrics, spring dresses, brighter hues, and to bring a little life back into my wardrobe. The optimist in me has already started buying a few new spring pieces — most notably this Sezane sweater. Broken record here – I love Sezane. If you don’t know about them, they’re a French brand known for their classically chic designs and effortless Parisian quality. I mostly shop here for work clothes, leather handbags (the bucket bag is second best to the Mansur Gavriel and a fraction of the cost)… & now I’ve turned to being a fan of their knits!
The price point of Sezane isn’t quite as low as Zara and Top Shop, but for the quality and timelessness of their designs, It’s one of my go-to contemporary favorites. They release a new online capsule collection each month and have a few adorable, apartment boutiques in London, Paris, and New York. The one downfall is that a lot of their items quickly sell out — and once they’re gone they rarely come back in stock. — Hints my eagerness to take advantage of this Blood Orange jumper. I LOVE the color — love the comfy fit! It’s stitched just loose enough to get by with a lacy neutral bra ( a la the Parisian way) and can be buttoned up or down if you have your favorite layer-able jewelry to show off.
Circle bags are here to stay so expect to see a lot of my White Clare V for spring. Unfortunately, it’s sold out in white, but their classic Alistair is available in other colors, and I’ve also linked very similar options if you’re after this stark, chic look.. Keeping with the blood orange/red theme I traded in my signature Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick for Laura Mercier’s "Chica" matte lip — Quite a shift from my traditional natural rose pout, but I’m a fan of the hue to change things up, especially when paired with a few safer classics — Shop Re/Done Denim and my favorite Dior Slides.
If the red jumper is too much color for you, this sweater also comes in a blush pink, a chic white cream, mustard yellow, Mocha brown, sea foam teal, black with striking buttons, rose pink, and sage greens — unfortunately, again, all colors are selling out quickly but they also have this exact sweater with a rounded neck — linked HERE to scope out the options.
Happy Weekend! Hope its a good one!
