Rust Tie Cuff Sweater

The one color I have been loving since the beginning of fall is rust. And as much as I have loved the color all season, this is the first piece I’ve purchased in this shade. Better late than never I guess! This rust tie sleeve sweater will be a staple for the rest of the season.

Rust Tie Sleeve Sweater
The first thing that drew me to this sweater were the fun tie sleeves. I’m always a sucker for a cute detail. But deciding on a color was going to be difficult. Available in this rust color, cream and grey, I could easily see myself wearing each of them. However, I do have this grey ruffle sleeve sweater from this post and I don’t always love cream on me with my light hair and fair skin, so rust it was! I was so exciting to embracing one of fall’s hottest colors.
I love it paired with jeans and over the knee boots for a casual fall look but I was honestly surprised at the length when it arrived. For some reason, I pictured it to be more tunic-like and something I could wear with leggings. As you can see, it is pretty short. I have styled it here with these high-waisted jeans and I think it works out to be the perfect length. It is a little longer in the back of the sweater, but not much. I am wearing my regular size, medium.
I shared some outfit inspiration last week for Thanksgiving, but this would also be a fabulous sweater for the holiday! Another wonderful thing about this sweater is that it looks great styled casually with jeans but you could also wear it with dress pants or a skirt for the work week. You know how much I love a versatile piece!
I hope you all had a great weekend! See you back here tomorrow for a yummy dessert that is just in time for the holidays. Have a great start to the week, friends!
P.S. There is a new tab on the top of the page called "The Shop" where you can see some of my favorite finds of the moment. I just updated the Holiday Shop last night. You can click on the link at the top of the page or see the page here. I will be updating the products weekly until Christmas so be sure to check back!
