While it’s a stark contrast to my latest outfit post, this casual ensemble is a far better representation of what I’m actually wearing on a day-to-day basis. And although it’s far more suited to everyday life than a striking evening gown, you may notice a common theme… the dress!
I’ve always preferred dresses over anything else, be it jeans, leggings, or even shorts. The Exercise Dress by Outdoor Voices has become my new go-to, especially in the ever-mild climate we have here in Florida.
What do I love about it? First off, how comfortable it is! What may surprise you is that the dress is lined with what looks like a unitard. (HA!) But it’s incredibly comfortable. I do recommend wearing a sports bra underneath, though!
I also love how simple and classic the cut is. Nothing fussy or fancy… just a timeless silhouette! The fit is spot on as well. Flattering and fitted, but not at uber clingy. For size reference, I’m ordered my usual size, an XS.
This dress sells out quickly, but is restocked time to time in lots of fresh colors. I was lucky enough to score a hunter green and navy dress just in time for fall! Thinking about adding black to the collection to, based on how much I’m wearing these.
The final thing I’ll say about the Exercise Dress is that you can style it in so many ways. Granted, it’s always going to be a casual look, but wear it as-is or layer over it with a tee and/or sweatshirts for a bit more coverage and warmth. Can you tell I’m just a bit obsessed?

Another closet favorite you’ve heard me talk about again and again is my Barrington tote. This is my newest piece… the St. Anne zippered tote in Oyster Grey Geometric! I love the muted, neutral colors and the blocked monogram. Barrington is hosting a 15% off sale site-wide today with the code PUMPKINSPICE! Sales are rare from Barrington, so I recommend taking advantage!
