You know what’s pretty awesome about living in D.C.? It’s a surprisingly creative town, and I’ve met some of the most talented entrepreneurs since I moved back in 2013.
For instance, my friend Chelsea, who owns this super super stunning jewelry line, 12POLE. She makes all of the jewelry by hand with love, care, and a crazy attention to detail and the silhouettes she uses are very unexpected and unique. We all shot a lookbook for 12POLE in Georgetown a few Sundays ago to help her get into a pretty amazing trade show in NYC (side note, she got in!) along with 19 up and coming jewelry designers to mingle with buyers from major stores across the country.
I can’t wait to see 12POLE dominate the world, but in the meantime, I’ll be repping this line hard in the district. Another local product I’m loving? This Mischo nail polish in Stiletto. I never wore a ton of blue nail polish in the past, but I seriously am hooked on this shade. Mischo is based in D.C. and is 8 free, and their polish goes on like a dream.
So much local love in today’s post. D.C. = Damn Creative, amirite?
